COMPLEX CAD ASSEMBLIES & LAYOUTS
CAD software has been a large part of my life both personally and professionally. With all my years of experience and various softwares learned I am able to create and manage complex parts, Class A surfaces, layouts and assemblies.
MECHATRONIC MECHANISMS
Even as a mechanical engineer, circuits don't scare me. I am able to design, prototype, and program/control various types and sizes of mechanisms with integrated electronics.
CALCULATIONS
Being an engineer, mathematics are at my core. I am able to perform various engineering calculations as well as program calculators for efficient design parametrization.
SIMULATIONS
Part of reducing cost is verifying designs and models digitally. I have simulation experience in both FEA and CFD as well as reducing model complexity to compute the most needed results with minimal resources.
RAPID PROTOTYPING, ANALYSIS, DESIGN LOOPS
Taking advantage of rapid prototyping and using compressed design, build, test cycles; I am able to effectively develop and optimize parts quickly.
DRAFTING
I have issued 100s of professional drawings in my career; most of them for an industry leader. At Honda not only where my capabilities refined, but I updated drawing styles to reflect modern 3D CAD and utilize more GD&T .
PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Having managed and been a part of many multi-disciplinary teams, I am able to develop schedules, cost / weight rollups, and various graphical representations for communication with senior management.
